Councilmember Neils introduced the following Resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 78-813
AUTHORIZING THE DEVELOPMENT, ADMINISTRATION AND EVALUATION
OF A TELEPHONE SURVEY
WHEREAS, the Park and Recreation Advisory Commission recommends that the
Council place a bond referendum before the electorate for parks acquisition
and development; and
WHEREAS, the Park and Recreation Advisory Commission desires to obtain
citizen input prior to the referendum; and
WHEREAS, the Park and Recreation Advisory Commission has determined that a
telephone survey will produce thehighest degree of reliability and
validity for the lowest cost ($500.00) and in the shortest time span; and
WHEREAS, the Park and Recreation Advisory Commission recommends that a
telephone survey be undertaken by Mr. Bill Morris,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA that:
Staff be directed to coordinate the development, administration and analysis
of a telephone survey by Mr. Bill Morris as identified in the Parks and
Recreation Director's memorandum pf November 21, 1978.
The cost of developing, administering and evaluating the survey shall be
charged to the Park Department's operating fund.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Ho t 'and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted In favor thereof; Acting Mayes Spaeth. Councilma arc

Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adoptek
