Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a Regular Council meeting of
the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the

RESOLUTION NO. 78-807
AUTHORIZING THE CONTINUATION OF PHASE I AND INITIATION OF
PHASE II OF PLYMOUTH PHYSICAL FITNESS PROGRAM
WHEREAS. in September of 1978 the Council did approve the initiation of Phase I of
the Plymouth Physical Fitness Program as described in the City Managers memorandum of
of August 10, 1978, and,
WHEREAS, on December 1, 1978, the City Manager did propose the continuation of Phase I
and initiation of Phase II of the Physical Fitness Program and,
WHEREAS, the Physical Fitness Program concurrently benefits the City and its employees
by reducing lost time and workmen's compensation costs while increasing employee
morale,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA that it should and hereby does authorize the continuation of Phase I and
initiation of Phase II of the Plymouth Physical Fitness Program.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember S aeth . and upon vote being taken thereon, the
tollowing vote n Favor thereof; Acting Mayor Spaeth and Councilmember
Hoyt
