HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1978-798CITY OF PLYMOUTH • Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 27th day of ovember , 1978 . The following members were present: Mayor Hunt, Cooncil membersHoyt, N ie ls, Seibold and Spaeth The following members were absent: None Councilmember Spaeth introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: --- RESOLUTION 10. 78-798 RECEIVING REPORT AND CALLING HEARING ON IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT NO. 906 AMERIK FIRST ADDITION WHEREAS, pursuant to resolution of the Council, adopted October 23, 1978, a report has been prepared by Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik and Associates, Inc. with respect to the improvement of the Americk 1st Addition and adjacent area, and WHEREAS, the proposed project includes installation of sanitary sewer, watermain, services, storm sewer, road improvements and all necessary appurtenances as may be necessary, and WHEREAS, said report was received by the Council on November 27, 1978 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. The Council will consider the improvement of such street and utility improvements in accordance with the report and the assessment of benefited property for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes 429.011 to 429.111 (Laws 1953, Chapter 398, as amended) at an estimated total cost of the improvement of $328,000.00. 2. A Public Hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the 18th day of December, 1978, in the Council Chambers of the City Public Works Building at 14900 23rd Avenue North at 7:30 p.m., and the Clerk shall give mailed and published notice of such hearing and improvements as required by law. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Neils , and upon vote being taken thereon, the 0 owing vote in avor ereo Mayor Hunt, Councilmembers Hoyt Neils, Seibold and Spaeth The following voted against or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly pass a
