Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, as ecial meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 27th day of
November , 19 78. The following members were present: Mayor Hunt,
uncilmembers Hoyt, Neils, Seibold and Spaeth

Councilmember Neils introduced the following Resolution and moved
its adoption:
RESOLUTION 78-794
APPROVING VARIANCE FOR LAND CONSOLIDATION/DIVISION INVOLVING UNPLATTED
PROPERTY FOR LOREN GREENE (A-331)

WHEREAS, Loren Greene, 3154 Island View Drive, Mound, has reouested a variance for
land consolidation/division of unplatted property within the City of Plymouth; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed said request and recommended a
variance to permit lot consolidation/division involving unplatted property at
17405 and 17425 - 30th Ave. No.;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA that it should and hereby does approve a variance for the following land
consolidation/division involving unplatted property subject to the condition that
any further subdivision of the unplatted property shall be through formal plat or
registered land survey; and that the City Manager be authorized to make the necessary
special assessment corrections based upon City policy when the consolidation and
division are approved by Hennepin County:

Description -- That part of the West Half of the Southwest Quarter of Section 20,
Township 118 North, Range 22 West of the 5th Principal Meridian, described as
follows; beginning at the Northwest corner of said Southwest Quarter; thence South
along the West line of said Southwest Quarter a distance of 330.00 feet to the
actual point of beginning of the tract to be described; thence continuing South
along said West line a distance of 211.00 feet; thence East parallel to the North
line of said Southwest Quarter a distance of 237.44 feet; thence Northwesterly
a distance of 219.15 feet more or less to a point on a line drawn parallel to the
North line of said Southwest Quarter and distance 180.8 feet East of the point of
beginning; thence West 180.8 feet to the actual point of beginning,

_Description -- Lot 1, Block 3, SHILOH, Hennepin County, Minnesota, according to the
recorded plat thereof.
To be divided into two new parcels as follows:
Parcel A -- That part of the West Half of the Southwest Quarter of Section 20, Town-
ship 118, Range 22, Hennepin County, Minnesota, described as follows:

Commencing at the northwest corner of said Southwest Quarter; thence
south along the west line of said Southwest Quarter 330 feet to the
point of beginning; thence continue south along said west line 211.0
feet; thence east parallel with the north line of said Southwest
Quarter 195.18 feet; thence northerly to a point on the westerly line
of Lot 1, Block 3, SHILOH, according to the recorded plat thereof
182.72 feet northwesterly of the southwest corner of said Lot 1; thence
northwesterly 35.65 feet along the westerly line of said Lot 1 to a
point on a line drawn parallel with the north line of said Southwest
Quarter from the point of beginning; thence west 180.8 feet to the
point of beginning; and,
That part of Lot 1, Block 3, SHILOH, according to the recorded plat thereof,
lying northwesterly of the following described line:
Commencing at the southwest corner of said Lot 1; thence northwesterly
along the westerly line of said Lot 1 a distance of 182.72 feet to the
beginning of the line to be described, thence northeasterly deflecting
47 degrees right, 50.16 feet to the northeasterly line of said Lot 1
and there terminating.
Parcel B -- That part of the West Half of the Southwest Quarter of Section 20,
Township 118, Range 22, Hennepin County, Minnesota, described as follows:
Commencing at the northwest corner of said Southwest Quarter; thence
south along the west line of said Southwest Quarter 541.0 feet; thence
east parallel with the north line of said Southwest Quarter 195.18 feet
to the point of beginning; thence continue east on said parallel line
42.26 feet to the southwest corner of Lot 1, Block 3, SHILOH, according
to the recorded plat thereof; thence northwesterly along the westerly
line of said Lot 1, a distance of 182.72 feet; thence southerly 176.62
feet to the point of beginning; and,
That part of Lot 1, Block 3, SHILOH, according to the recorded plat thereof,
lying southeasterly of the following described line:
Commencing at the southwest corner of said Lot 1; thence northwesterly
along the westerly line of said Lot 1 a distance of 182.72 feet to the
beginning of the line to be described; thence northeasterly deflecting
47 degrees right, 50.16 feet to the northeasterly line of said Lot 1
and there terminating.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded
by Councilmemb t , and upon -vote being taken thereon, the
