HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1978-764CITY OF PLYMOUTH • Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 20th day of November , 19]$. The following members were present: Acting Mayor Spaeth, Councilmembers Hoyt. Neils and Saibold The following members were absent: Mayor Hunt Councilmember Seibold introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 78-764 DECLARING ADEQUACY OF PETITION AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF REPORT STREET LIGHTING - ZACHARY HILLS (A-778) WHEREAS, a petition has been received from Marvin H. Anderson Construction Co. requesting installation of ornamental residential street lighting in the Zachary Hills development NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. A certain petition requesting the improvement of Zachary Hills Addition by the installation of residential ornamental street lighting, filed with the City Council on November 20, 1978, is hereby declared to be signed by the required percentage or owners of property affected thereby. This declaration is made in conformance to Minnesota Statutes Section 429.035. e 2. The petition is signed by 100% of the affected property owners and they have waived their rights to public improvement and special assessment hearings. 3. The petition is hereby referred to the City Engineer and he is instructed to report to the Council with all convenient speed advising the Council in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible and as to whether it should best be made as proposed or in conjunction with some other improvement and the estimated cost of the improvement as recommended.
