CITY OF PLYNOM
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a re ulaarr meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 20th day of
November , 19 78. The following members were present: _Mayor Hunt.

Councilmember Spaeth introduced the following Resolution and moved

APPROVING LOT DIVISION/CONSOLIDATION VARIANCE FOR EXISTING UNPLATTED LOTS FOR
ROBERT EARLCOPE (A-862)

WHEREAS, Robert Earl Cope, 830 RhpieIsland Ave. No., Golden Valley, MN, has requested
a lot division/consolidation variance of existing unplatted parcels within the City
of Plymouth; and
WHEREAS, said variance request has been reviewed by the Planning Commission which
recommends approval; and
WHEREAS, said request includes a lot width variance of 10 feet for the new parcel;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA that it should and hereby does approve the following lot division/
consolidation and that the City Manager be authorized to make the necessary special
assessment corrections based upon City policy when the variance is approved by
Hennepin County:
Plat 43726, Parcel 3050 -- That part of the Southwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter
of Section 26, Township 118, Range 22, Hennepin County, Minnesota, described as follows;
Commencing at a point on the south line of said Southwest Quarter of the Northwest
Quarter, 324.60 feet east of the southwest corner of said Southwest Quarter of the
Northwest Quarter; thence north and parallel with the west line of said Southwest
Quarter of the Northwest Quarter 671.00 feet to the point of beginning; thence east
and parallel with the south line of said Southwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter,
324.60 feet; thence north and parallel with the west line of said Southwest Quarter

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Neils , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor
thereof: Mayor Hunt, Councilmembers Hoyt, Neils, Seibold and Spaeth , The following
voted against or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was
declared duly passed and adopted.
