Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a reqUlar meeting of
the City Council of the City of Plymouth, M nnesota was e d on t e

RESOLUTION NO. 78-743
ORDERING THE INITIATION OF A STUDY TO
EVALUATE THE PLYMOUTH SALARY ADMINISTRATION,
PERFORMANCE REVIEW AND POSITION CLASSIFICATION PLANS
WHEREAS, changing circumstances have had an impact on the City's salary
administration, performance evaluation and classification plans, and
WHEREAS, the City Manager, in a report dated November 1 has recommended
that Stanton & Associates undertake a study to revise and up -date the
plans necessary, and
WHEREAS, such a study can benefit the City by reducing turnover and in-
creasing employee understanding and acceptance of the personnel program;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve the study of
the salary administration, performance evaluation and position classifi-
cation plans by Stanton & Associates, as outlined in a proposal dated
Ocotber 1978, and
FURTHER, that an amount not to exceed $3,400 be appropria; d from the
General Fund Budget Activity 190, Account 899 for this purpose.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
