The following members were present: Mayor Hunt,_Councilmembers Hoyt. Neils_ SPihold and Spa tin _. The following members were absent: None Councilmember Neils introduced the following Resolution and moved Its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 78-739 RESOLUTION ADOPTING REVISED PENSION BENEFITS AND BYLAWS FOR THE PLYMOUTH VOLUNTEER FIREFIGHTERS RELIEF ASSOCIATION WHEREAS, Officers of the Plymouth Volunteer Firefighters Relief Association have approached the City Council for revisions in the Bylaws and pension benefits available to Plymouth Volunteer Firefighters, and WHEREAS, the City Council discussed the proposed Bylaws and pension revisions and subsequently directed the appropriation of an actuarial study based upon such revisions, and WHEREAS, such a report has been received and general concurrance has been reached by the City Council, and WHEREAS, the State Legislature adopted Minnesota Laws 1978, Chapter 685 approving the requested pension revisions; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve the revised pension program and Bylaws dated November 6, 1978 for the Plymouth Volunteer Firefighters Relief Associaiton, and FURTHER, that the approved Bylaws and revised pension program shall become effective January 1, 1979. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by and upon vote being taken thereon, the following vote n favor thereof, Mayor Hunt, CnuncilmPmharc N t, Ncijser Seibold and Spaeth following vote against ora sta.ne ; Nnng Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted,
