None Councilmember Seibold introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: -- RESOLUTION ption: RESOLUTION NO. 78-719 RESOLUTION CONFIRMING MEMBERSHIP IN THE PLYMOUTH VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT WHEREAS, 1977 statutory amendments to the Minnesota Public Employee Re- tirement Act provide that certain employees earning in excess of $250 per month may be members of the Retirement Association, and WHEREAS, members of the Plymouth Volunteer Fire Department may from time to time reach this income level and, therefore, by statute, should properly be included in the Police and Fire Fund of the Public Employee Retirement Associ- ation, and WHEREAS, State Law requires that to be a member of the Police and Fire Fund of the Public Employee Retirement Association, the City Council must adopt a resolution confirming that the member is actively associated with Police or Fire Department; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESUIVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should ak�d hereby does confirm that the following individuals are members of the Plymouth Volunteer Fire Department as of the date of the passage of this resolution: The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded tCounmber Ho t , and upon Vote being taken thereon, the l orn<-►g Vot cilnein vor ereo Mayor Hunt, Councilmembers Hoyt, Neils, Seibold and Spaeth -ine rollowtng Voted against or stained: one Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly pass t Resolution N78-719 Page 2 Francis C.
