Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of
the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on t e
23rd day of October 19 78. The following members were
present: Mayor Hunt, Uouncilme—We—R—Voyt,-We—ils, Seibold and Spaeth

Councilmember Hoyt introduced the following Resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 78-692
COMMENDING BEVERLY JORDAN FOR SELECTION AS 1978 BUSINESSWOMAN OF THE YEAR
WHEREAS, the Northwest Suburban Business and Professional Women's Association,
in conjunction with the Post Publishing Company, annually select an outstanding
representative for the distinction of Businesswoman of the Year, and
WHEREAS, Beverly Jordan of the Northwest Suburban Business and Professional
Women's Association was selected among numerous regional applicants for this
distinction;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY CC''NCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA that it should and hereby does commend Beverly Jordan for her outstanding
efforts as a professional businesswoman, and
FURTHER does heartily endorse the selection of Berverly Jorddn by the Northwest
Suburban Business and Professional Women's Association and the Post Publishing
Company as 1978 Businesswoman of the Year.
