MEETING OF CITY COUNCIL O
CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting
of the City Council of the City of Plymouth was held on the 16th
day of October, 1978, at the Council Chambers commencing at 7:30
o'clock p.m. The following members were present:
Mayor Hunt, Councilmembers Hoyt, Neils and Spaeth
The following members were absent: Councilmember Seibold
_Councilmember Spaeth introduced the following
resolution and moved its adoption:
"RESOLUTION NO. 78-677
A RESOLUTION•SETTING A DATE FOR
PUBLIC HEARING ON VACATION OF A PORTION OF
LARCH LANE LOCATED IN THE NORTH 1/2 OF
SECTION 27, TOWNSHIP 118, RANGE 22
WHEREAS, a petitinhas been served by the City of Plymouth
for the vacation of a portion of Larch Lane located in the North
1/2 of Section 26, Township 118, Range 22, and
WHEREAS, it is required that a public hearing be held
with respect to such request,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH AS FOLLOWS:
1. That a public hearing be held on the
6th day of November, 1978, at the City Council
Chambers commencing at 7:30 o'clock p.m. to
consider the vacation of the following described
street:
That part of Larch Lane lying in
the North 1/2 of Section 26, Township
118, Range 22, from the Northerly
right-of-way line of 23rd Avenue North
to the Northerly line of Tract I,
R.L.S. No. 132, which portion of said
Larch Lane is bounded on the East by
Lot 13, Block 6, Elmhurst Addition
and on the West by Tract I, R.L.S. No.
132.
2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to cause
notice of the hearing to be published in the legal
newspaper of said city as required by law and to post
said notice of hearing as required by law."
The above motion was seconded by Councilmember Hoyt
and upon vote being taken thereon the following voted in favor
thereof: Mayor Hunt, Councilmembers Hoyt, Neils and Spaeth
The following voted against: None
Whereupon resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.

I, the undersigned, being the duly qualified and acting
City Clerk of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, hereby certify that
I have carefully compared the attached and foregoing extract of
minutes of a regular meeting of the City Council of said City held
October 16 , 1978 with the original thereof on file in my office
and the same is a full, true and complete transcript therefrom
insofar as the same relates to setting a date for a public hearing
on vacation of a portion of Larch Lane located in the North 1/2 of
Section 27, Township 118, Range 22.
WITNESS, My hand officially as such City Clerk and the
corporate seal of the City this 23rd day of October
1978.
