HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1978-668CITY OF PLYMOUTH • Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 16th day of October , 19]x. The following members were present: Mavnr Hunt, rnuncilmamhPrs Hogt_ Neils and Spaeth The following members were absent: Cnuncilmemher Saihnld Councilmember Spaeth introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 78-668 REDUCING DEVELOPMENT BOND WESTMINSTER ADDITION (A-717) WHEREAS, in accordance with the Development Contract, dated June 13, 1977, B -T Land Company, developer of Westminster Addition (A-717), has agreed to install certain improvements for said development, and WHEREAS, the Developer has completed a portion of the street, utility and site grading as noted below, and WHEREAS, the Developer has requested a reduction of the Development Bond to reflect the completed work, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA that the bonding regjirements are reduced as follows: ITEM ORIGINAL AMOUNT NEW AMOUNT Street Construction $34,806 $ 0 Sanitary Sewer 0 0 Watermain 0 0 Storm Sewer 0 0 Boulevard Sod 11,000 6,700 Pond or Ditch Construction 0 1,000 Street Signs 750 750 Street Sweeping & Storm Sewer Cleaning 1,000 1.000 Erosion Control 11000 550 Site Grading 7,000 0 TOTALS $57,556 $10.000 That the Letter of Credit, which was previously reduced to $14,750 be further reduced to $10,000 to reflect the completed work. FURTHER BE IT RESOLVED that the street construction, concrete curb and gutter. sanitary sewer, watermain and storm sewer are accepted, as of October 16, 1478. for continual maintenance subject to the one year guarantee by the Developer. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by and upon vote being taken tf— reon. the tollowing voted in tavor thereof.
