RESOLUTION No. 2009-239
A RESOLUTION AWARDING THE CONTRACT FOR POLICE ORDERED TOWING
AND IMPOUNDMENT OF VEHICLES FOR 2009 THROUGH 2012
WHEREAS, the City's current contract for towing and impoundment of
vehicles nuns through October 31, 2009; and
WHEREAS, the City desires to enter into a new contract with a qualified
contractor for the police ordered towing and impoundment of vehicles; and
WHEREAS, the City advertised and accepted bids for such contract; and
WHEREAS, the City received only one proposal from Plymouth Automotive,
Inc. for the services set forth in the Proposal Documents furnished to the interested
towing contractors; and
WHEREAS, the only bidder, Plymouth Automotive, Inc. has met the
proposal's specifications.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA the contract for
Police Ordered Towing and Impoundment of Vehicles for the period
November 1, 2009 through November 1, 2012 is hereby awarded to Plymouth
Automotive, Inc.
