A RESOLUTION APPROVING FINDINGS OF FACT TO REPEAL THE CURRENT LIGHTING
ZONE MAP AND ADOPT A NEW LIGHTING ZONE MAP AND FOR A ZONING ORDINANCE
AMENDMENT TO PROVIDE CONSISTENCY WITH THE LAND US GUIDE PLAN

WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the Ordinance amendments at a
duly called Public Hearing; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has adopted a Zoning Ordinance amendment and to repeal
the current lighting zone map and adopt a new lighting zone map.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve
findings of fact to repeal the current lighting zone map and a Zoning Ordinance
amendment, based upon the following findings:
1. The lighting zone map and Zoning Ordinance amendment is consistent with the
Comprehensive Plan and other City policies and plans.
2. The lighting zone map and Zoning Ordinance amendment meets the purpose and
intent of the Ordinance.
ADOPTED by the City Council on October 13, 2009.
