Special Council Meeting
October 27, 2020
Mayor Wosje called a Special Meeting of the Plymouth City Council to order at 5:00 p.m. in the Council
Chambers of City Hall, 3400 Plymouth Boulevard, on October 27, 2020.
COUNCIL PRESENT: Mayor Wosje, Councilmembers Willis, Carroll, McGregor, Roehl, Davis, and Prom.
(Councilmembers Willis, Roehl, Prom, and McGregor participated remotely per State Statute 13D.021).
ABSENT: None.
STAFF PRESENT. City Manager Callister, Administrative Services Director Hokkanen, Community
Development Director Juetten, Public Works Director Thompson, Human Resources Manager Kone,
Financial Manager Bursheim, Supervising Accountant McMackins, Facilities and Fleet Manager Hanson,
Parks and Recreation Director Evans, City Engineer La Bounty, Creek Center Manager Riley, Streets and
Utilities Manager Paumen, Recreation Manager Hemp, Deputy Director of Parks and Recreation
Northway, Information Technology Manager Leiseth, Economic Development Manager Parr, Ice Center
Manager Halverson, Public Safety Director Goldstein, Deputy Police Chief Fadden, and Fire Chief Coppa.
_Budget and Police Update
Council completed their discussion of the budget and the majority stated they would support holding
franchise fees flat for 2021.
Public Safety Director Goldstein provided a police update. He also announced that he'll be
resigning/retiring on January 31, 2021.
Human Resources Manager Kone discussed the proposed Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Coordinator
position that is the 2021 budget.
Future Study Sessions
No future study sessions were scheduled.
Adiournment
Mayor Wosje adjourned the meeting at 6:50 p.m.
