The following members were present: Mayor Hunt_ nc mem ers ell following me ers were sent: Nnng esR cage CouncilUamber Spapth ;ntroduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RLS0LUTION NO. 78- 621 ADOPTING ASSESSMENTS PROJECT 704 - KRAEPZ HIGHVIEW ACRES 6711 *a* WHEREAS, pursuant to proper notice duly given as required by law, the Council has met and heard and passed upon all objections to the proposed assessments for the following improvement: Fountain Lane from 18th Avenue to the cul-de-sac approximately 625 feet north thereof and from Dunkirk Lane to Fountain Lane at 19th Avenue by the installation of sanitary sewer, watermain, bituminous street restoration and all necessary appurtenances. NOW THEREFCRE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. Such proposed assessment, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, is hereby accepted and shall constitute the special assessment against the lands named therein and each tract of land therein included is hereby found to be benefited by the proposed improvement in the amount of the assessment levied against it. 2. Such assessment shall be payable in equal annual installments extending over a period of 15 years, the first of the installments to be payable on or before the first Monday in January, 1979 and shall bear interest at the rate of 8% per annum from the date of the adoption of this assessment resolution. To the first installment shall be added interest on the entire assessment from the date of this Resolution until December 31, 1-979. To each subsequent installment when due shall be added interest for one year on all unpaid installments. 3. The owner of any property so assessed may, at any time prior to certificgtion of the assessment to the County Finance Director, pay the whole of the assessment on such property with interest accrued to the date of payment, to the City Finance Director, except that no interest shall be chareL if the entire assessment is paid within 30 days from the adoption of this Resolution; and he may at any time there- after, pay to the City Finance Director, the entire amount of the assessment remaining unpaid,- with interest accured to December 31, of the year in which such payment is made. 4. The Clerk shall forthwith transmit a certified duplicate of this assessment to the County Finance Director to be extended on the proper tax lists of the -County and such assessments shall be collected and paid over in the same manner as other municipal taxes. 0 0 Resolution # 78-621 Page 2 S. The total cost of the improvement assessed by this Resolution is: Sewer Lateral $ 9,800.22 Water Lateral 8,157.78 Street 11,471.00 Water Area 1,800.00 Total $ 31,229.00 6. The cost to be financed by the City is: Sewer Trunk Fund $ 14,377.31 Water Trunk Fund 25,407.69 Total $ 39,785.00 The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded b7' and upon vote being taken thereon, the fol owing vot in r ereo Mayor Hunt.
