HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1978-619CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 26th day of September , 1978. The following members were present: Mayor Hunt, Councilme�mbeers HoyT, Seibold and Spaeth The following members were absent: Councilmember Neils _-uncil_member Seibold introduced the following Resolution andel moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 78- 619 AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR AND CITY MANAGER TO ENTER AN ORDER WITH RESPECT TO A HAZARDOUS AND DANGEROUS BUILDING AT 15535 COUNTY ROAD #9, PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA WHEREAS, the Building Official of the City of Plymouth has made a written report to the Council relative to the condition of the structure at 15535 County Road #9, Plymouth, Minnesota, which structure is deemed by said Building Official to be in a hazardous and dangerous conditions, and WHEREAS, in said report said Building Official has recommended that proceedings be commenced for the correction, razing or removal of said structure pursuant to applicable statutes of the State of Minnesota, and WHEREAS, said report has been examined and considered by the City Council; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, AS FOLLOWS: 1. That the Mayor and City Manager of the City of Plymouth are authorized and directed to enter an Order directed to the owner of the premises at 15535 County Road #9, Plymouth, Minnesota, and to all lien holders of record which Order shall direct owner and lien holders to correct, raze or remove the building thereon. 2. The City Attorney is authorized and directed to cause said Order to be served upon the owners of record of said building, or their agents, upon any occupants therein and to proceed with the enforce- ment of said Order all as provided in SS463.12 - 463.26, Minnesota Statutes. • • RESOLUTION NO. 78-619 page 2 The motion for the adoption of tt-= foregoing Resolution was duly p seconded byj��gmber Spaeth , and upon vote being taken thereon, CnuncilmembpC5 the following voted Hoyt. Seibold and Spaeth in favor thereon: Mayor Hunt, The following voted against or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
