Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a meeting of
the City Council of the City of Plymouth,Minnesota owtas held on t e

Councilmember Spaeth int,-zAuced the following Resolution and
moved is adoption:
RESOLUTION N0, 78- 617
APPROVING SUNSET HILL TRAFFIC/PEDESTRIAN SAFETY STUDY
WHEREAS, the Minnesota Department of Transportation is responsible for
undertaking certain traffic and speed studies in municipalities, and,
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth believes that speed and safety studies should
be undertaken on Ridgemount Avenue from County Road 61 to County Road 73,
County Road 61 from Ridgemount Avenue to County Road 15, County Road 15
from Wedgewood Lane to Pineview Lane and Pineview Lane from Ridgemount
Avenue to 11th Avenue North,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that the Minnesota Department of Transportation be
requested to undertake safety and speed studies as rapidly as possible
on the following streets:
Ridgemount Avenue from County Road 61 to County Road 73, County Road 61
from Ridgemount Avenue to County Roadl5, County Road 15 from Wedgewood Lane
to Pineview Lane and Pineview Lane from Ridgemount Avenue to 11th Avenue
north.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that this study be undertaken in conjunction with
a similar study for an adjacent area being requested by the City of
Minnetonka.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
