Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of
the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was he d on t e
26th day of September , 19_2a. The following members were
present: Mayor Hunt Councilmembers Hot Seibold and Spaeth

Councilmember Sapeth _ introduced the following Resolution and
moved its adopt on:
RESOLUTION NO. 78- 615
AUTHORIZING THE UNDERTAKING OF DOWNTOWN PLYMOUTH AFFECTED AREA
ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENT STUDY
WHEREAS, The City is experiencing development activity on land lying between Vicksburg
Lane on the west, Fernbrook Lane on the east, County Road 9 on the north and
Highway 55 on the south, excepting the Cavanaugh and Fox Meadows Addition and,
WHEREAS, the Council believes that the public interest will be best served if this
entire area is subject to a single environmental review, in accordance with State
Law.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA, that the City Manager be authorized and directed to enter an agreement
with Barton-Aschman Associates by the terms of which the firm will prepare an affected
area EAW for that portion of land bounded by Vicksburg Lane on the west, Fernbrook
Lane on the east, County Road 9 on the north and highway 55 on the south, excepting
however, the Cavanaugh and Fox Meadows Additions,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the estimated cost of this study is between $11,000-
$12P00 and that the cost shall be proportioned between the City of Plymouth, B -T
Land Development Company and Plymouth Hills Company, in proportion their land
currently under or proposed for development.
