RESOLUTION NO. 78- 591 APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS PROJECT NO. 804 (FERNBROOK LANE SOUTH OF COUNTY 9) WHEREAS, pursuant to a Resolution adobpted by the City Council on June 19, 1978, the consulting engineer, Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik $ Associates, Inc, has pre- pared plans and specifications for the improvements to Fernbrook Lane from County 8 and 9 to Harbor Lane by the installation of sanitary sewer lateral and trunk facilities, watermain laterals and trunk facilities, bituminous street construction (9 -ton design) with concrete curb and gutter, storm drainage facilities, and all necessary appurtenances. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. Such plans and specifications, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, are hereby approved. 2. The City.Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official paper in The Construction Bulletin an advertisement for bids upon the making of such im- provement under such approved plans and specifications. The advertisement shall be published for three days; shall specify the work to be done; shall state that bids will be received by the City Clerk until 10:30 a.m. C.D.S.T. on Friday, --October 13, 1978, at which time they will be publicly opened in the Council Chambers of the City Public Works building at 14900 - 23rd Avenue North, Plymouth, Minnesota, by the City Manager, and that no bids will be considered unless sealed and filed with the City Clerk and accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's check, bid bond or certified check payable to the City Clerk for five percent of the amount of such bid. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Neils , and upon vote being taken thereonthe follewing votedin favor thereof. _ Acting Mayor Spaeth, Councilmembers Seibold', Hoyt and Neils The following voted against or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. tAt t** f*r
