Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of
the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was e d on t e
5th day of September , 1978 . The following members were
present: Mayor Hunt, Councilmembers Hof Neils Spaeth and Seibold
The follovilng members were absent: None
Councilmember Spaeth introduced the following Resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO, 78-578
APPROVING INSTALLATION OF STOP SIGN AT 28TH AVENUE & EVEREST LANE
WHEREAS, residents living in the area of 28th Avenue and Everest Lane have
requested the installation of a stop sign at the northbound lane of Everest
Lane, and
WHEREAS, after reviewing the traffic conditions in this area, the Police Chief
has recommended that the installation of a stop sign could help to reduce hazards
to motorists entering this intersection;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA that it should and hereby does approve the installation of a stop
sign at the intersection of 28th and Everest Lane on the northbound lane of
Everest Lane.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Neils 'and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following vote n favor thereof'. Mayor Hunt, Councilmembers Hoyt, Neils,_
Spaeth and Seibold.
Ine tollowing voted against or abstained; None
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted,
