Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of
the City Council of the City of Plymouth, t4innesota was held on the
5th day of September , 19 78 . The following members were
present: Mayor Hunt, Councilmembers Hoyt, Neils, Seibold and Spaeth
The following members were absent: None
Councilmember Spaeth introduced the following Resolution and
moved its adopt4
RESOLUTION NO. 78- 572
CALLING HEARING ON PROPOSED ASSESSMENT
REMOVAL AND DESTRUCTION OF DISEASED TREES
WHEREAS, by a resolution passed by the City Council on September 5, 1978, the
City Clerk was directed to prepare a proposed assessment for the removal and
destruction of diseased trees on certain lands within the City as provided by
law, and -
WHEREAS, the Clerk has notified the Council that such proposed assessment has
been completed and filed in the office of the City Clerk for public inspection,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA:
1. A hearing shall be held on the 2nd day of October, 1978 in the Council
Chdmbers of the City Public Works Building, 14900 23rd Avenue North at
7:30 p.m. to pass upon such proposed assessment and at such time and place
all persons owning property affected by such improvement will be given an
opportunity to be heard thereon with reference to such assessment.
2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to cause a notice of the hearinn on the
proposed assessment to be published once in the official newspaper at least
two weeks prior to the hearing, and shall state in the notice the total cost
of the improvement. The Clerk shall also cause mailed notice to be given
to the owner of each parcel described in the assessment roll.
The notion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Neils 'and upon vote being taken t'ereon, the
following vote in ayor thereof; Mayor Hunt, Councilmembers Hoyt, Neils,
Seibold and Spaeth
The following voted against or abstained; None
