HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1978-571CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 5th day of September , 1978 . The following members were present: MayorHunt! councilmembers Hoyt, Neils, Seibold and Spaeth The following members were absent: None �t Councilmember S aeth introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 78 - 571 RESOLUTION FOR HEARING ON PROPOSED ASSESSMENT PROJECT 718 - TIMBER CREEK WHEREAS, by a resolution passed by the Council on September 5 , 1978, the City Clerk was directed to prepare a proposed assessment of the cost of the f}Ilowing improvements: Lots 7 and 36, parcel 1553; Lot 8, parcel 1700, Lot 9, parcel 1900, Auditors Subdivision 333, Plat 43740, (proposed Timber Creek Addition), by the installation of sanitary sewer, watermain, streets and concrete curb and gutter, and storm drainage facilities including t:ie completion of Pilgrim Lane (platted) as it abuts said property, AND WHEREAS, the Clerk has notified the Council that such proposed assessment has been completed and filed in the office of the City Clerk for public inspection, NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. A hearing shall be held on the 2nd day of October , 1978, in the City Council Chamber of tlr—e public Works Building, at 14900 23rd Avenue North, Plymouth, Minnesota, at 7:30 p.m. to pass upon such proposed assessment and at such time and place all persons owning property affected by such improvement will be given an opportunity to be heard with reference to such assessment. 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to cause a notice of the hearing on the proposed assessment to be published once in the official newspaper at least two weeks prior to the hearing, and shall state in the notice the total cost of the improvement. The Clerk shall also cause mailed notice to be given to the owner of each parcel described in the assessment roll.
