HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1978-5670 CITY OF PLYMOUTH • Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 5th day of September 1978 . The following members were present: Mayo Hunt,ounce members—Hoyt, Neils, Seibold and Spaeth The following members were absent: None Councilmember Spaeth introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 78 - 567 RESOLUTION FOR HEARING ON PROPOSED ASSESSMENT PROJECT 705 - QUEENSLAND/GREENDALE AREA WHEREAS, by a resolution passed by the Council on September 5 , 1978, the City Clerk was directed to prepare a proposed assessment of the cost of the following improvements: The Queensland/Greendale Area. Queensland Lane from 6th Avenue to the City limits and the Greendaie Addition, including Second Avenue North and Third Avenue to the Luce Line Trail and southwesterly along the Luce Line Trail to Queensland Lane, by the installation of sanitary sewer, watermain, bituminous street restoration and all necessary appurtenances. AND WHEREAS, the Clerk has notified the Council that such proposed assessment has been completed and filed in the office of the City Clerk for public inspection, NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. A hearing shall be held on the 2nd day of October, 1978 in the City Council Chamber of iff -Fublic Works Building, at 1490D72Tr7 Avenue North, at 7:30 p.m. to pass upon such proposed assessment and at such time and place all persons owning property affected by such improve- ment will ue given an opportunity to be heard with reference to such assessment. 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to cause a notice of the hearing on the proposed assessment of be published once in the official newspaper at least two weeks prior to the hearing, and shall state in the notice the total cost of the improvement. The Clerk shall also cause mailed notice to be given to the owner of each parcel described in the assessment roll.
