Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of
the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was- held on the
5th day of September , 19 78 . The following members were
present: Mayor Hunt,ounce mem—Hoyt, Neils, Seibold and Spaeth
The following members were absent: None
Councilmember Spaeth introduced the: following Resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 78-562
DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED
AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT
FOR THE REMOVAL OF DISEASED TREES
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Section 18.023 M.S.A. and Chapter V,
Section 14 of the City Code of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, the City
Manager of the City of Plymouth has caused the destruction and removal of
diseased trees on certain lands within the City of Plymouth, and a determina-
tion has been made, as provided by law, and the total amount of such work
including costs incurred is in the amount of _2,943.60 and of this cost the
City will pay $0.00 as its share of the cost;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
101. The cost of such improvement to be specially assessed is hereby declared
to be 2,943.60 .
2. The City Clerk, with the assistance of the City Engineer, shall forthwith
calculate the proper amount to be specially assessed for such improvement
against every assessable lot, piece of parcel of land within the district
affected without regard to cash valuation as provided by law, and the Clerk
shall file a copy of such proposed assessment in the Clerk's office for
public inspection.
3. The Clerk shall, upon the completion of such proposed assessment, notify
the Council thereof.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Neils 'and upon vote being taken thereon, the
followIng yoted i.n aYor thereof. Mayor Hunt, Councilmembers Hoyt. Neils.
Seibold and Spaeth
