HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1978-559a CITY OF PLYMOUTH - Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on t e 5th day of September , 1978 . The following members were present: Ma or Hunt Counci mem ers Ho,yt,�eils, Seibold and Spaeth The following members were absent: None Councilmember Spaeth introduced the following Resolution and moveT its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 78-559 RESOLUTION DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT PROJECT 713 - JONQUIL LANE WHEREAS, a contract has been let for the improvement of Jonquil Lane from 26th Avenue North to West Medicine Lake Road by the con- struction of bituminous surface, sanitary sewer and watermain and all necessary appurtenances, and the contract price for such improvement is$19,681.00 and the expense" incurred or to be incurred in the making of said improvement amount to $4,643.00so that the total cost of the improvement will be $24,324.00and of this cost tFe city will pay $12,605.00 as its share of the cost, NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. The cost of such improvement to be specially assessed is hereby declared to be $ 11,719.00 2. It is further determined that the following charges for water trunk main, pumping and storage facilities, sanitary sewer trunk facilities, lift sta- tions, etc., for the above referenced project shall be applied to the existing land use zoning. Water Area Resicential $300.00 per a acre lot or $600.00 per acre Sa0tary Sewer Area Residential 300.00 per -1-2 acre lot or $600.00 per acre 3. The City Clerk, with the assistance of the city engineer shall forthwith calculate the proper amount to be specially assessed for such improve- ment against every assessable lot, piece or parcel of land within the district affected, without regard to cash valuation, as provided by law, and shall file a copy of such proposed assessment in the office of the clerk for public inspection. 4. The clerk shall, upon the completion of such proposed assessment, notify the council thereof. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Neils and upon vote being tai�,ken therepn, the following vote to avor thereof'.
