Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a pedal meeting of
the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the
• 5th day of September , 1978 . The following members were
present: Mayor Hunt, Councilmembers Hoyt, Neils. Seibold and Spaeth
The following members were absent: None
Councilmember Spaeth introduced the following Resolution and
moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 78-557
RESOLUTION DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING
PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT
PROJECT 705 - QUEENSLAND/GREENDALE AREA
WHEREAS, a contract has been le: for the improvement of the Queensland/Greendale
Area:
Queensland Lane from 6th Avenue to the City limits and the Greendale Addition,
including Second Avenue North and Third Avenue to the Luce Line Trail and
southwesterly along the Luce Line Trail to Queensland Lane, by the installation
of sanitary sewer, watermain, bituminous street restoration and all necessary
appurtenances.
and the contract price for such improvement is $205,ao7_nn , and the expenses in-
curred or to be incurred in the making of said improvement amount to $ 44,279.00
so that the total cost of the improvement will be $_ 250,086.00 and of this cost
the City will pay $ 20,051.43 as its share of the cost,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. The cost of such improvement to be specially assessed is hereby declared
to be $ 230,034.57
2. It is further determined that the fnllowing charges for water trunk main,
pumping and storage facilities, and sanitary sewer trunk facilities, lift
stations, etc., for the above referenced project shall be applied to the
existing land use zoning.
Water Area
Resi'dential $300.00 per 1/2 acre lot or $600.00 per acre
Sanitary Sewer Area
Residential $300.00 per 1/2 acre lot or $600.00 per acre
3. The City Clerk, with the assistance of the City Engineer shall forthwith
calculate the proper amount to be specially assessed for such improvement
against every assessable lot, piece or parcel of land within the district
affected, without regard to cash valuation, as provided by liw, and shall
file a copy of such proposed assessment in the office of the Clerk for
