Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of
the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on t e
Sth day of _ September 1978 . The following members were
present: payor Hunt. Councilmembers Hoyt, Neils Seibold and Spaeth
The following members were absent: None
Councilmember Spaeth introduced the following Resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION #78- 546
APPROVING REVISED CONEPT PLAN FOR THE MEDINA ROAD ALIGNMENT
WHEREAS, the City Council, on March 24, 1975, approved a conceptual revision
to the general alignment of proposed Medina Road local thoroughfare between
Vicksburg Lane and Niagara Lane, from that designated on the Thoroughfare
Guide Plan; and,
WHEREAS, platting petitions submitted by Volp Construction Company (A-750)
and by Vern Isham (A-552) for platting of the land between Vicksburg Lane
and Niagara Lane, suggest a refinement and revision of that conceptual
alignment; and,
WHEREAS, Staff and the Planning Commission have reviewed the proposed alignment
and recommended approval;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA, that it should, and hereby does, approve the revised alignment of
the proposed Medina Road local thoroughfare between Vicksburg Lane and Niagara Lane
per the preliminary plats submitted by Volp Construction (A-750) and Vern Isham
(A-552) approved under Resolution #.78- 547 and Resolution #78- 549 respectively;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the approved alignment for proposed Medina Road between
Vicksburg Lane and Niagara Lane be used in evaluating any future plats and developments
in the area.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution rias duly seconded by
and upon vote being taken thereon, the
