Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of
the City Council of the City of Plymouth, nnesota was held on t e
28th day of August , 19__M. The following members were
present: Mayor Hunt, Councilmembers Hoyt. Neils and Spaeth

Councilmember Spaeth introduced the following Resolution and

RESOLUTION NO. 78 - 537
RESOLUTION FOR HEARING ON PROPOSED ASSESSMENT
PROJECT 605-001 COUNTY ROAD 6 AND FERNDALE ROAD WATERMAIN
WHEREAS, by a resolution passed by the Council on June 19, 1978, the City Clerk
was directed to prepare a proposed assessment of the cost of improving the following
improvement:
The City of Plymouth's Water Distribution Trunk System by construction of
a 12" water trunk main on County Road 6 from Ranier Lane to the reservoir
site; and a 16" water trunk main on Ferndale Road south from the reservoir
site to Ferndale Road, together with all necessary restoration and all
necessaru appurtenances.
AND WHEREAS, the Clerk has notified the Council that such proposed assessment has
been completed and filed in the office of the City Clerk for public inspection.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
I. A hearing shall be held on the 18th day of September, 1978, at
the Public Works Building, 14900 23rd Avenue North, Plymouth, Minnesota,
at 7:30 p.m. to pass upon such proposed assessment and at such
time an p ace all persons owning property affected by such improve-
ment will be given an opportunity to be heard with reference to such
assessment.
2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to cause a notice of hearing on the
proposed assessment to be published once in the official newspaper at
least two weeks prior to the hearing, and shall state in the notice
the total cost of the improvement. The Clerk shall also cause mailed
notice to be given to the owner of each parcel described in the
assessment roll.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Ho t . and upon vote being taken thereon, the
