HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1978-530CITY OF PLYMOUTH • Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a,"ort meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on-the 28th day of August , 19 78. The following members were present: Mayor Hunt, Counc11_m_effiFr_s_lToyt,_We-ils & Spaeth The following members were absent- Councilmember 5elD01a Councilmember Neils introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION #78- 530 APPROVING REVISED GENERAL DEVELOPMENT PLAN FOR PLYMOUTH HILLS COMPANY FOR "PLYMOUTH HILLS ADDITION" (A-675) WHEREAS, Plymouth Hills Company received approval of a General Development Plan for Plymouth Hills plat located at the northeast corner of Highway 55 and Vicksburg Lane under City Council Resolution #77-139; AND, WHEREAS, Plymouth Hills Company has requested approval of a revised General Development Plan for said plat; AND, WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed and commented on said General Development Plan; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve the request of Plymouth Hills Company for revised General Development Plan approval of "Plymouth Hills Addition" plat located at the northeast corner of Highway 55 and Vicksburg Lane, and dated August 18, 1978, subject to the following: 1. Said General Development Plan shall reflect the following zonings: Blocks 1 and 3 - B-2 (Shopping Center Business District); Blocks 2, 4, 5 and Outlot D - B-1 (Office -Limited Business District); Outlots A, C, E, and G - R-0 (Restricted Residential Subdivision). 2. Those parcels zoned B-1 and B-2 shall be considered a Planned Unit (Business) Development, consistent with the terms of the Plymouth Zoning Ordinance. 3. Specific development of the lands shall be subject to individual site plan review and the availability of public utilities ..o the sites. 4. Where applicable zoning districts lines shall coincide with the center line of public streets, or property lines. 5. Compliance with the applicable City Engineer' Memorandum. 6. Prohibition of private drive access to Vicksbura Lane. 7. Building design and landscaping for lots adjacent to Highway 55 shall be aesthetically compatible with the Civic Center complex. 8. Final use for Lots 6 and 7, Block 1, shall be determined by the nature of in- dividual site plans as they relate to the overall plan. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Spaeth, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Hunt, Councilmembers Hoyt, Spaeth, and Neils. The following voted against or abstained: Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
