Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of
the City Council of the City of Plymouth. Minnesota was held on th
. 28th day of August , 197L. The following members were
present: Mayor Hunt. Councilmembers Hoyt Neils & Soagth
The following members were absent: Councilmember Seibold
Councilmember Spaeth introduced the following Resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 78- 529
ORDERING IMPROVEMENT AND PREPARATION OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
FOR IMPROVEMENTS ON VICKSBURG LANE FROM HWY. 55 TO CO. 9
PROJECT NO. 853
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 78-417 of the City Council, adopted the 10th day of
July, 1978, fixed a date for a public hearing on the improvements to Vicksburg
Lane from Hwy. 55 to Co. 9 by the installation of watermain, storm sewer and
9 -ton bituminous street with concrete curb and gutter, and all necessary
appurtenances, and
WHEREAS, ten days published notice of the hearingthrough two weekly publications
of the required notice was given and the hearing was held thereon the 7th day
of August, 1978, at which time all persons desiring to be heard were given an
opportunity to be heard thereon.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA:
1. Such improvement is hereby ordered as proposed in the council resolution
adopted July 10, 1978, with turning lanes at Hwy. No. 55.
2. Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik & Associates is hereby designated as engineer
for the improvement. He shall prepare plans and specifications for the
making of such improvement.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Neils , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following vote in fayor thereof: Mayor Hunt, Councilmembers Spaeth, Hoyt
and Neils

Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted,
