Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a Special meeting of
NJ the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the
14th day of August , 19 78. The following members were
present: Mayor un ouncemT embers Hoyt-, Neils, Seibold and Spaeth
The following members were absent: None
Councilmember Spaeth introduced the following Resolution end
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 78-505
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID
PROJECT NO. 702
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the improvement of 23rd Avenue
North, 25th Avenue North and Cheshire Lane (Project No. 702) by the installation
of sanitary sewer, watermain, storm sewer, 9 -ton bituminous street with concrete
curb and gutter (on Cheshire Lane Easement, from 23rd Avenue North to approximately
260 feet South of 21st Avenue; watermain only)
AND, WHEREAS bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law, and the
following bids were received complvino with the advertisement:

AND, WHEREAS, it appears that Northdale Const. Co. is the lowest responsible bidder,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA:
I. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into
the attached contract with Northdale Const. Co. of Plymouth, Minnesota
in the name of the City of Plymouth, for the improvement of 23rd Avenue
North, 25th Avenue North and Cheshire Lane (Project 702) by the
installation of sanitary sewer, watermain, storm sewer, 9 -ton bituminous
street with concrete curb and gutter (on Cheshire Lane Easement, from
23rd Avenue North to approximately 260 feet South of 21st Avenue:
watermain only)
2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to
all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except that the deposits
of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be retained
until a contract has been signed.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Neils , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
f-ollowing voted to ravor thereof: Mayor Hunt, Councilmembers Hoyt,
Neils, Seibold ans Spaeth

Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly pasised and adopted,
