Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of
the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on t e
11th day of August , 19 78. The following members were
present: Mayor Hunt, Councilmembers Spaeth, Neils Hot Seibold
The following members were absent: None
Councilmember Spaeth introduced the following Resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOULTION NO. 78-494
APPROVING OFF -SALE INTOXICATING
LIQUOR LICENSE - GERALD L. BIRCHEM AND ERNEST L. BORGEN
WHEREAS, Gerald L. Birchem and Ernest L. Borgen have submitted an application
for an Off -Sale Intoxicating Liquor License to operate an off -sale liquor store
at 3435 North County Road 18, Plymouth, Minnesota 55441; and
WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing on August 11, 1978, with regard
to said application in accordance with Chapter III, Section 4.11 and Section
4.14 of the City Code:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Plymouth that, subject to the approval of the State Liquor Control Com-
missioner, an Off -Sale Intoxicating Liquor License is hereby granted to
Gerald L. Birchem and Ernest L. Borgen to operate their business known as
Highway Liquors located at 3435 North County Road 18, Plymouth, Minnesota 55441,
and FURTHER that the Off -Sale Intoxicatina Liquor License issued to Dwain K.
Thunem 3435 North County Road 18, shall be cancelled on the date of issuance
of said Off -Sale Intoxicating Liquor License and surrender of his Retailer's
Identification Card to Gerald L. Birchem and Ernest L. Borgen.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Qeilpand upon vote being taken thereon, the
