Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special weOf the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 31st day of

APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
PROJECT NO. 829 AND PROJECT NO. 804
(EXCEPT CRITERION ADDN. AND FERNBROOK LANE SOUTH OF COUNTY 9)

WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution adopted by the City Council on July 17. 1970,
the consulting engineer, Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik 4 Associates. Inc. has
prepared plans and specifications for the following improvements:
1. Fernbrook Lane north of CSAR 9
2. 40th Avenue
3. 35th Avenue
4. Glacier Lane
5. Cedar Ridge Addition
by' the installation of sanitary sewer lateral and trunk facilities. watermain
laterals and trunk facilities, bituminous street construction (9 -ton design on
Fernbrook Lane and 7 -ton design on residenttial street) with concrete curb and
gutter, storm drainage facilities, and all necessary appurtenances, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution adopted by the City Council on April 3. 1978,
the consulting engineer, Sonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik A Associates. Inc. has
prepared plans and specifications for the following improveaents
1. Quaker Lane, Orleans Lane, 31st Avenue, 30th Avenue. 29th Avenue.
all within the proposed plat of Ridgecrest Addditioh;
2. on 29th Avenue from Quaker Lane to approximately 330 feet east of `
Orleans Lane; Quaker Lane from 28th to approximately Z50 feet north
of 29th Avenue; and Orleans Lane from 28th to 29th;
3. the extension of Orleans Lane from the north line of the Ridgecrest
Addition across Plat 43729, Parcel 1000 to the south line of the
Tiburon Addition;
by the installation of sanitary sewer, watermain, storm sewer. 7 -ton bituminous
street with concrete curb and gutter and required connections to existing sewer
and watermain, and all necessary appurtenances.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITU Of PLVNOUTH,
MINNESOTA:

1. Such plans and specifications, a copy of which is attached hereto and
made a part hereof, are hereby approved.
2. The City Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official
paper and in The Construction Bulletin an advertisement for bids upon
the making of such improvement under such approved plans and specifi-
cations. The advertisement shall be published for three days, shall
specify the work to be done, shall state that bids will be received
by the City Clerk until 10:00 a.m. C.D.S.T. on Friday, August 25, 1978,
at which time they will be publicly opened in the Council Chambers of
the City Public Works building at 14900 - 23rd Avenue North, Plymouth,
Minnesota, by the City Manager, and that no bids will be considered
unless sealed and filed with the City Clerk and accompanied by a cash
deposit, cashier's check, bid bond or certified check payable to the
City Clerk for five percent of the amount of such bid.
