HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 2009-221CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION NO. 2009-221 A RESOLUTION TO PROPOSE PROPERTY TAX LEVIES FOR TAX PAYABLE 2010 WHEREAS, the City Council has given preliminary approval to the proposed operating budgets for calendar year 2010. The proposed budgets require monies to be raised from property taxes on taxable property in the City of Plymouth. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA that the following sums of money be raised by property tax on taxable property in the City of Plymouth for taxes payable in 2010 as set out in the preliminary 2010 budget. 2010 Property Tax Levy General Purpose General Fund $22,342,677.40 Market Value Credit $ 589,795.00 Street Reconstruction $ 2,531,834.76 Recreation Fund $ 618,497.00 Capital Improvement Fund $ 368,962.48 Total General Purpose $26,451,766.64 Special Levies Activity Center Bonds $ 428,007.00 2003D Open Space Refiunding $ 281,326.50 200313 Street Reconstruction Bonds $ 179,038.13 2004A Public Safety Bonds $ 596,957.81 2007A Open Space $ 255,223.50 HRA $ 551,277.00 Total Special Levies $ 2,291,829.94 Total Levies $28,743,596.58 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the said proposed property tax levy be certified to the County Auditor of Hennepin County on or before September 15, 2009.
