Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of
the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the
24th day of Jul, , 19 78 The following members were
present: Acting Mayor Spaeth. Councilmembers Hot Neils and Seibold
The following members were absent: Mayor Hunt
Councilmember Neils introduced the following Resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 78-463
AUTHORIZING STREET SWEEPING BY A PRIVATE CONTRACTOR
WHEREAS, asphalt streets maintained by the City are in need of cleaning, and
WHEREAS, the sweeping of such streets reduces exposure to dust and enhances
community appearance;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA that it should and hereby does authorize the sweeping of approximately
200 gutter miles of City streets by private contractor.
FURTHER that the funds for this project be appropriated from the Street Division
Budget, Fund 101, Activity 172.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Seibold , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
rollowing Voted In favor thereof, Acting Mayor Spaeth, Councilmembers Neils,
Hoyt and Seibold

Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly possed and adopted.
