The following members were present: Ac in Ma or Spaeth, Counc Tmembers Hoyt, Neils and Seibold The following members were absent: Mayor Hunt Couqcilmember Neils introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 78-451 AUTHORIZING MAYOR AND CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE AGREEMENT WITH BARTON-ASCHMAN ASSOCIATES FOR PREPARATION OF AFFECTED AREA EAW WHEREAS, the Environmental Quality Board has requested that the City prepare an Affected Area Environmental Assessment Worksheet (EAW) for that area bounded by I-494 on the west, CSAH 9 on the south, Zachary Lane on the east and CSAR 10 on the north, and WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that it is in the public interest to provide this study, and WHEREAS, the City Manager has provided an agreement between the City and Barton- Aschman Associates, Inc. by the terms of which Barton-Aschman Associates will undertake the preparation of the EAW; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA that the Mayor and City Manager be authorized and directed to enter into an agreement with Barton-Aschman Associates, Inc, whereby they shall undertake the preparation of the Related Actions Environmental Assessment Worksheet at a cost not to exceed $25,000. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the costs of the study are to be recovered from assessments and/or charges made to developers working in the affected area. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by i and upon vote tieing taken thereon, the following vote n favor thereof; A . tingaynr Spaath- Enuprilmomhare Hnvt 0 owing vote aga ns ora sta ne ; Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
