Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of
the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the
17th day of July , 19 78. The following members were

Councilmember Neils introduced the following Resolution and
moved its adoption
RESOLUTION NO. 78-438
APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
PROJECT NO. 702
23RD, 25TH & CHESHIRE LANE IMPROVEMENTS
WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution passed by the City Council on July 10, 1978,
the consulting engineer, Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik & Associates, Inc. has
prepared plans and specifications for the improvement of 23rd Avenue North,
25th Avenue North, and Cheshire Lane by the installation of sanitary sewer,
watermain, storm sewer, 9 -ton bituminous street with concrete curb and gutter
(on Cheshire Lane - easement, from 23rd Avenue North to approximately 260 feet
south of 21st Avenue - watermain only), and all necessary appurtenances, and
has presented such plans and specifications to the Council for approval;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA:
1. Such plans and specifications, a copy of which is attached hereto and made
a part hereof, are hereby approved.
The City Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official paper
and in The Construction Bulletin an advertisement for bids upon the making
of such 'improvement under such approved plans and specifications. The adver-
tisement shall be published for three days, shall specify the work to be
done, shall state that bids will be received by the City Clerk until 10:00 a.m.
C.D.S.T. on Friday. August 11, 1978, at which time they wll be publicly opened
in the Council Chambers of the City Public Works Building at 14900 23rd
Avenue North, Plymouth, Minnesota, by the City Manager and that no bids
will be considered unless sealed and filed with the City Clerk and accompanied
by a cash deposit, cashier's check, bid bond or certified check payable to
the City Clerk for five percent of the amount of such bid.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
and upon vote being taken thereon. the
