Councilmember Neils introduced the following Resolution and
moved its adopt on:
RESOLUTION NO, 78-.428
ACCEPTING APPRAISAL BY 0. J. JANSKI ASSOCIATES
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth has contemplated the acquisition of certain
lands in the south half of Section 16 for park purposes; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager has obtained from 0. J. Janski and Associates,
Inc. an appraisal of the subject lands dated July 5, 1978 which appraisal
indicates that the subject lands have a market value of $370,000; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the appraisal of 0. J. Janski and
Associates as well as a review of said appraisal prepared by the City
Assessor which review concludes that the stated appraisal market value
is reasonable and appropriate:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA that the appraisal dated July 5, 1978 prepared
by 0. J. Janski and Associates for a parcel of land owned by the Rauenhorst
Corporation containing approximately 73.82 acres in the south half of
Section 16 be accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the market value of $370,000 as established by
0. J. Janski and Associates shall serve as the City's offer to the
Rauenhorst Corporation for the acquisition of this parcel.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Acting Mayor Spaeth , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
Tollowing voted in favor thereof: Acting Mayor Spaeth, Councilmembers
Neils and Seibold
The following voted against or abstained; None
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly pa!i!ied and adopted.
