HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1978-421• CITY OF PLYMOUTH • Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a s ecial meting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on We 10th day of _ July , 1928- The following members were present: Acting Mayor Spaeth, Councilmembers Neils and Seibold The following members were absent: Mayor Hunt and Councilmember Hoyt Councilmember Seibold introduced the following Resolution and moved its a opt on: RESOLUTION NO. 78-421 REJECTING BIDS FOR TELECOMMU,.ICATION SYSTEM AM ORDERING REBID WHEREAS, pursuant to public notice, bids were opened and read aloud fir the procurement of a telecommunications system, and WHEREAS, in a report dated July 7, 1978, the City Manager has analyzed said proposals and found that acceptance of any bid .submitted would not be in the best interests of the City of Plymouth, and WHEREAS, the bid specifications reserve the right for the City Council to accept or reject any and/or all bids, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA that it should and hereby does reject all bids received on June 8, 1978. AND FURTHER directs the City Clerk to return all bid securities and to prepare public notice for rebidding this item. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Council mbgr 5gils 'and upon vote being taken thereon, the tollowing Voted n favor thereof, Acting Mayor Spaeth, Councilmembers Neils and Seibold ine Toiiowing voted against or abstained; None _- — Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted,
