HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 2009-216CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION No. 2009-216 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CITY STAFF TO PREPARE SPECIFICATIONS AND SOLICIT BIDS FOR THE REPLACEMENT OF AERIAL 21 . WHEREAS, Funding of $726,000.00 has been reserved in the Cities Central Equipment Fund for the replacement of Fire Department Vehicle Aerial 21; and WHEREAS, city staff has identified this vehicle for replacement due to several vehicle safety and operational effectiveness issues; and WHEREAS, Aerial 21 has come to the end of its useful life span and is within the typical replacement schedule as determined by city staff NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA to authorize city staff to prepare specifications and solicit bids for the replacement of Fire Department vehicle Aerial 21. Approved this 8th day of September, 2009.
