Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of
the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on tFie
10th day of July , 19 78. The following members were
present: Acting Mayor 52ae1h. Councilmembers Nails and SPihnld
The following members were absent:ayo�t r Hunt and Councilmember Hoyt
Councilmember Seibold introduced the following Resolution and
moved Its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 78-420
AWARDING BID FOR THE PURCHASE OF ONE
1979 27,500 GVW CAB AND CHASSIS TRUCK
WHEREAS, pursuant to Minnesota Statute public bids were solicitied after public
notice in the City's official newspaper; and
WHEREAS, three bid proposals were received as follows:
Vendor Bid
Superior Ford $14,224.00
Crystal Motors $14,550.00
and Bob Carter Ford $14,541.43
WHEREAS, the bid submitted by Superior Ford conforms to the intent of the specifi-
cations and constitutes the lowest responsible bid for this purchase:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does award bid for the purchase of one 1979
model 27,500 GVW cab and chassis truck to Superior Ford, Inc. in a total purchase
amount not to exceed $14,224.
AND, FURTHER, that vendor bid securities be herewith returned to the unsuccessful
vendors and a purchase order completed and submitted for the purchase of this item.
The motioa for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by

Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted,
