Councilmember Seibold introduced the following Resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 78-4i7
RECEIVING REPORT AND CALLING HEARING ON IMPROVMENTS
PROJECT NO. 853 (PORTION ONLY) AND PROJECT NO. 801-
VICKSBURG LANE IMPROVEMENTS
WHEREAS, pursuant to resolution of the City Cbuncil, adopted May 15, 1978,
a report has been prepared by Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik & Associates, Inc.,
with reference to the improvement of the following portion of Project No. 853:
VICKSBURG LANE FROM T.H. 55 TO CSAH 9
by the installation of sanitary sewer, watermain, storm sewer, and 9 -ton
bituminous street with concrete curb and gutter, sidewalks, and all necessary
appurtenances, and said report was received by the Council on July 10, 1978, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to resolution of the City Council, adopted October 17, 1977,
a report has been prepared by Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik & Associates, Inc.
with reference to the improvement of Vicksburg Lane between County Road 9 and
County Road 47 by the installation of major thoroughfare road to interim rural
section which includes full grading, gravel base, alternate for bituminous sur-
face, and necessary drainage facilities, and all necessary appurtenances and
said report was received by the Council on June 12, 1978.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA:
1. The Council will consider the improvement of such street in accordance
with the report and assessment of abutting properties for all or a
portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes,
Sections 429.011 to 429.111 (Laws 1953, Chapter 398, as amended) at an
estimated total cost of the improvement of $1,947,:195.56.
2. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on August 7,
1978, in the Council Chambers in the City Public Works Building at
14900 - 23rd Avenue North at 7:30 p.m., and the Clerk shall give mailed
and published notice of such hearing and improvement as required by law.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Neils , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
