HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1978-416CITY OF PLYMOUTH • Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth,nesota was held on t e 10th day of July , 1978 . The following members were present:Acting Mayor Spaeth, Councilmembers Neils and Seibold The following members were absent: Mayor Hunt and Councilmember Hoyt Councilmember Seibold introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 78-416 RECEIVING REPORT AND CALLING HEARING ON IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 816 13TH AVENUE WHEREAS, pursuant to resolution of the City Council, adopted November 7, 1977, a report has been prepared by Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik & Associates, Inc., with reference to the improvement of 13th Avenue from CSAH 18 to South Shore Drive by the installation of bituminous street overlay, replacement of damaged concrete curb and gutter, and all necessary appurtenances, and said report was received by the Council on July 10, 1978. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. The Council will consider the improvement of such street in accordance with the report and assessment of abutting properties for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Sections 429.011 to 429.111 (Laws 1953, Chapter 398, as amended) at an estimated total cost of the improvement of $53,739.00. 2. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on August 14, 1978, in the Council Chambers in the City Public Works Building at 14900 23rd Avenue North at 7:30 p.m., and the Clerk shall give mailed and published notice of such hearing and improvement as required by law. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by �gyncjlmembgr it 'and upon vote being taken thereon, the following vote n favor thereof.
