RESOLUTION NO. 2009-212
A RESOLUTION REJECTING THE LONE BID AND ORDERING THE READVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
FOR THE FOUR SEASONS WELL FACILITY REHABILITATION
CITY PROJECT NO. 7114
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the improvements for the Four
Seasons Well Rehabilitation, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law, and
the following bids were received complying with the advertisement:
and;
Contractor Total Base Bid + Bid Alt 1
EnComm Midwest, Inc. $290,168.00
WHEREAS, the lowest and only bid exceeds the engineer's estimate.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA
1. All bids are rejected for the Four Seasons Well Rehabilitation Project, City
Project No. 7114.
2. The City Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official paper
and in The Constriction Bulletin an advertisement for bids upon the making
of such improvement under such approved plans and specifications. The
advertisement shall be published two times, shall specify the work to be
done, shall state that bids will be received by the City Clerk until 10:00 a.m.
on October 6, 2009 at which time they will be publicly opened in the City
Council Chambers of the Plymouth City Center building at 3400 Plymouth
Boulevard, Plymouth, Minnesota, by the City Manager and that no bids will
be considered unless sealed and filed with the City Clerk and accompanied
by a cash deposit, cashier's check, bid bond or certified check payable to the
City Clerk for five percent of the amount of such bid.
