Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of
the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the

Counciknember Spaeth introduced the following Resolution and
mo-ied its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 78-373
DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED
AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT
PROJECT NO. 506
T.H. 101/COUNTY ROAD 6
WHEREAS, a contract has been let for the improvement of T.H. 101 between T.H. 12
and approximately 1000 feet north of County Road 6 as well as the intersection of
County Road 6 and T.H. 101 by the installation of sanitary sewer, watermain, storm
sewer, 9 -ton bituminous street with concrete curb and gutter, sidewalks and traffic
signal installation with all necessary appurtenances and the contract price for
such improvement is $1,500,000.00, and the expenses incurred or to be incurred in
the making of said improvement amount to $350,500.00 so that the total cost of
the improvement will be $1,850,500.00; and of this cost the City will pay $1,330,592.00
as its share of the cost,
NOW THEREFOPE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. The cost of such improvement to be specially assessed is hereby
declared to be $519.908.00.
2. The City Clerk, with the assistance of the City's consulting engineer,
shall forthwith calculate the proper amount to be specially assessed
for such improvement against every assessable lot, piece or parcel of land
within the district affected, without regard to cash valuation, as
provided by law, and she shall file a copy of such proposed assessment
in her office for public inspection.
3. The Clerk shall, upon the completion of such proposed assessment,
notify the Council thereof.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
