Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 12th day of
June , 19 78. The following members were present:

Councilmember Spaeth introduced the following Resolution and moved

APPROVING, PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS COMBINED
PROJECT NO. 811 LOST LAKE AREA IMPROVEMENTS AND
PROJECT NO. 313 OAKVIEW LANE WATERMAIN
FOR PURPOSES OF BIDDING AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
PROJECT NO. 811
WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 78-151 passed by the City Council on March 27.-
1978, Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik L4 Associates, Inc. has prepared plans and spec-
ifications for the improvement of the following streets:
1. Revere Lane from County State Aid Highway 9 to 39th Avenue
2. Trenton Lane from 150 feet north of 41st Avenue to 40th Avenue
3. Saratoga Circle north of 40th Avenue
4. 41st Avenue from Revere Lane to Trenton Lane
5. 40th Avenue from Revere Lane to Ximines Lane
6. Ximines Lane from 40th Avenue to approximately 350 feet north
by the installation of watermain laterals and trunk facilities, bituminous street
restoration with concrete curb and gutter, and all necessary appurtenances, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 78-151, amending Resolution No. 78-196 was
passed by the City Council on April 17, 1973, ordering improvement and preparation
of plans for the Lost Lake Area Project No. 311 to include the following:
1. Streets shall be 23 feet wide with bituminous curb and gutter.
2. That Revere Lane be shifted to the west of centerline to the extent
practical to provide the least disruption of existing
taking of trees, etc.
3. To give consideration to the needs for concrete curb & gutter, turns and
provide for proper construction of the catch basins existino at the
intersection of 40th and Revere Lane.
4. The bids shall include an alternate bid for concrete curb and gutter.
AND, WHEREAS, he shall prepare plans and specifications for the .making of such
improvement which shall include a street design on 7 -ton, 32 feet gide, with concrete
curb & gutter. The street construction on the north portion of Revere Lane between
39th Avenue and 40th Avenue shall be deleted and instead a bicycle path shall be
provided in that area. Further special attention shall be given to improving the
drainage in the area of 41st Avenue.

PROJECT NO. 813
WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution passed by the City Council on March 6, 1978,
Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik & Associates, Inc. has prepared plans and specifications
for the improvement of Oakview Lane north of T.H. 55 by the installation of water -
main laterals, previously constructed trunk facilities, bituminous street restora-
tion and all necessary appurtenances.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. Such plans and specifications, a copy of which is attached hereto and made
a part hereof, are hereby approved.
2. The two projects, Project No. 811 Lost Lake Area and Project No. 813 Oakview
Lane Watermain are to be combined as one contract for purposes of bidding.
3. The City Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official
paper and in The Construction Bulletin an advertisement for bids upon
the making of such mprovements under such approved plans and specifi-
cations. The advertisement shall be published for three days, shall
specify the work to be done, shall state that bids will be received
by the City Clerk until 10:00 a.m., C.D.S.T. on Friday, July 7, 1978,
at which time they will be publicly opened in the Council Chambers of
the City Public Works Building, 14900 23rd Avenue North, Plymouth,
Minnesota by the City Manager and that no bids will be considered unless
sealed and filed with the City Clerk and accompanied by a cash deposit,
cashier's check, bid bond or certified check payable to the City Clerk
for five percent of the amount of such bid.
The nation for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded
by Councilmember Seibold , and upon vote being taken thereon, the

Whereupon. the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
