HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1978-322DWITY OF PLYMOUTH • Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on t e nth day of June , 19_a. The following members were present: Mayor Hunt. Councilmembers Hoyt. Neils and oaeth The following members were absent: Councilmember Seibol, Councilmember Neils introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 78-322 D ORDERING THE PREPARATION OF A PRELIMINARY REPORT ON THE IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 904 49TH AVENUE FROM NATHAN LANE TO ZACHARY LANE WHEREAS, it is proposed to improve 49th Avenue from Nathan Lane to Zachary Lane by the installation of a 9 ton bituminous street with concret curb and gutter and including full grading, gravel base, bituminous surface, all necessary drainage facilities, sanitary sewer and water mains and all necessary appurtenances, and WHEREAS, it is proposed that the benefited properties be assessed for all or a portion of the cost of such improvements p!!rsuant to Minnesota Statutes 429.011 to 429.111 (Laws 1953, Chapter 398, as amended). NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA that the proposed improvements be referred to Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik & Associates for study and that the engineers be instructed to report to the City Council with all convenient speed by advising the Council, in a preliminary way, as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible and as to whether it should be best made as proposed or in connection with some other improvement, and the estimated cost of such an improvement as recommended. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by and upon vote being taken thereon, the following vo e r ravor thereof: Mayor Hunt.
