HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1978-322BOITY OF PLYMOUTH • Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a �reeqular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota - was held on the 5th day of June , 19_Z&. The following members were present: Mayor Hunt. Councilmembers Hpy _ Neils Spaeth The following members were absent: Councl Seibold Councilmember Neils introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 78-322"B ORDERING THE PREPARATION OF A PRELIMINARY REPORT ON THE IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 902 EXTENSION OF NORTHWEST SEWER INTERCEPTER WHEREAS, it is proposed to extend the Northwest Sanitary Sewer Interceptor from a line parallel and approximately 500 feet east of Vicksburg Lane for ap- proximately 1000 feet south of County Road 9 and 500 feet north of County Road 9 and thence from a point 500 feet north of County Road 9 generally in a northeasterly direction for approximately 1300 feet, and WHEREAS, the proposed project shall include installation of sanitary sewer, lateral, street restoration and all necessary appurtenances thereto and that all property benefited through this project shall be assessed for all or a portion of the cost of improvements pursuant to Minnesota Statutes 429.011 to 429.111 (Laws 1953, Chapter 398, as amended). NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA that the proposed improvements be referred to Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik & Associates for study, and that the engineers are instructed to report to the City Council with all convenient speed by advising the Council, in a preliminary way, as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible and as to whether it should be best made as proposed or in connection with some other improvement, and the estimated cost of such an improvement is recommended. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Spaeth , and upon vote being taken thereon, the 0 ow ng voted n favor thereof.
