Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, ameeting of
the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the
5th day of June , 1978 . The following members were
present: Mayor Hunt, Councilmembers Hoyt, Neils and Soaeth
The following members were absent: Councilmemher SPihnid
Councilmember Neils introduced the following Resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 78-322 A
ORDERING THE PREPARATION
OF A PRELIMINARY REPORT ON
THE IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 901
EXTENSION OF NORTH CENTRAL INTERCEPTOR
WHEREAS, it is proposed to extend the North Central Sanitary Sewer Interceptor
commencing from point 16 to 18 (from generally a northwesterly direction from
approximately 1000 feet south of County Road 9 to County Road 9 at a point
approximately 2000 feet east of West Medicine Lake Boulevard and thence westerly
along County Road 9 to West Lake Medicine Lake Boulevard) as shown on the adopted
Comprehensive Sewer Plan for Plymouth, Alternate Plan B, July 22, 1973, and
WHEREAS, the proposed project includes installation of sanitary sewer, lateral,
street restoration and all necessary appurtenances as maybe necessary and that all
property benefited through this project shall be assessed for all or a portion
of the cost of improvements pursuant to Minnesota Statutes 429.011 to 429.111
(Laws 1953, Chapter 398, as amended).
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA that the proposed improvements be referred to Bonestroo,
Rosen , Anderlik & Associated for study and that the engineers be instructed
to report to the City Council with all convenient speed by advising the Council,
in a preliminary way, as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible and as to
whether it should be best made as proposed or in connection with some other
improvement, and the estimated cost of such an improvement as recommended.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
